Mindfield Film Festival - Albuquerque is a film festival from the land of enchantment, it showcases features, shorts and music videos by filmmakers from around the world, celebrating and supporting independent, new and alternative filmmakers not just during our annual Film Festival but throughout the year with our bi-monthly online competitions.
Winners of our bi-monthly online competition are placed in a pool and considered to be an official selection of our annual LIVE festival.
Mindfield aims to show the very best in new independent cinema and to give filmmakers a place to show their work to people who appreciate it.

Bi-Monthly Competitions
Our bi-monthly online competition gives filmmakers the opportunity to submit their latest work and compete with others.
The bi-monthly winners will then be considered by a seperate panel to be screened at our annual Film Festival. Projects are not screened online or otherwise during the bi-monthly competition. Every winner of the bi-monthly competition will receive a digital laurel.
Film Festival
Our Annual Live Festival is a different entity from the bi-monthly competition. Not all winners of the bi-monthly competition will be selected to screen at the live festival. As stated above, a different panel will choose an Official Selection out of the winners of the bi-monthly competions. The chosen projects will then be screened at the Live Annual Event.
All projects and Scripts that are selected for the Live Festival will compete with each other at this event. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony.
